ProtestPal - an application for those who initiate-participate-support a protest event
BACKGROUND Every single day many protests are going on around the World. From demonstrations for national independence, via protests against pressure, crime and corruption, to citizen’s actions for saving a forest, historical building, to protests pro/contra abortion, LGBT rights, etc. In the past and today, people around the Globe constantly rise for a cause, but many times their actions, however righteous they might be, are corrupted by some evil forces. Networks like Facebook, Twitter or Youtube are being cut off, so people could not be in position to communicate. Many times, in many occasions in the past years, the social networks were "key ingredient" in citizens actions. It seems that it was about time, for the people struggling for a cause to get a dedicated application.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS APPLICATION
This is an app for those who initiate, organize and manage protests, those who support, those who would like to be informed, those who agree/disagree with the cause of the protestors,.... Those who identify themselves or sympathize with a cause for which purpose a protest has been initiated. The basic idea of the "ProtestPal" application is to provide a tool, simple and practical instrument for people in any city, any country in the World who want to start or support a protest for or against something.
BASIC PRINCIPLES
Without promoting violence, without supporting any aggressive or vicious activities, ProtestPal's aim is just to provide means for the people who want their voice to be heard, and their action and/or support to get the needed importance and significance.

What makes this app so unique
- As it is well known, thousands of people are protesting about something somewhere in the world. They usually use the advantages of modern technology, Internet at first, and social networks like FB, Twitter, YouTube, or apps like Viber, etc. But, those who are not happy with such protest events, and have enough power, are strongly pushing for such events to faded out, or not to happen at all.
- It seems it it really about time, for this human activity to get a dedicated application, and yet, there is no such app so far among millions of applications that are out there.
- ProtestPal is just trying to fill in this gap!
